Pecan and Wine Festival - FREE EVENT!!

Annually, Third weekend in March

The 2022 Pecan & Wine Festival is scheduled for March 19 & 20.

75 E. Hollamon Street, Downtown Camp Verde

The Pecan and Wine Festival is an annual celebration of Camp Verde’s pecan growers and wineries. The Festival includes nut and wine tastings, vendors, and music. Saturday hours are 11 am to 7 pm and Sunday 11 am to 4 pm.

Pecan and Wine Festival is not a pet friendly event.
Only Service Animals will be allowed.

SATURDAY LINEUP:

The Salt Miners 11:00am - 12:20pm
Salt Miners offer a dynamic, highly engaging live performance performing originals and unique covers. their music runs the gamut of "dance your feet off" tunes, to classic R&B/Rock, and of course, some of the sassies Blues.

Scott Marshall & The Free Radicals 12:40pm - 2:00pm
Scott Marshall & the Free Radicals is a Prescott, Arizona classic rock and blues band providing something for everyone. We are radical about freedom and being free! Music is the greatest treasure in the world.

Chicago Bob & The Blues Squad 2:20pm - 4:00pm
Chicago Bob and the Blues Squad is a five-piece, “old-school” Blues band that captures the authentic post World War II “Chicago style” of blues. We also include some Texas Blues, West Coast Swing tunes, and some band originals.

S.E. Willis, Roger Smith & Dr. Bob Sellani 4:20pm - 5:30pm
S.E.Willis, originally from West Virginia, has been playing the piano and harmonica since the age of six, and organ and accordion since his teens. He started playing in rock and roll bands along Arizona’s stretch of Route 66 in 1967. Willis’ music is deeply rooted in traditional American forms: blues, boogie-woogie, country, rockabilly, gospel, zydeco. A veteran band leader, S.E. (Steve) Willis has taken a supporting role in bands with such artists as Chuck Berry, Bo Diddly, Albert King, Jimmy Rogers, Roy Gaines, and, since 2000, Elvin Bishop (his accordion features prominently on the 2014 release “Can’t Even Do Wrong Right”).

The Swamp Poets 5:50pm - 7:00pm
The Swamp Poets are a highly acclaimed and award winning band and their Album "Hoodoo Du Voodoo?" has been called "One of the most important albums of the last decade" by Digital Blues Radio and has even been voted "Top 5 Albums of the Year" and "Top 40 Albums being played on the Radio in Europe and the UK for 2021" as well as "Album of the Month", (Three times by the Independent Blues Broadcasters Association). On a recent UK Radio show their album, "Hoodoo Du Voodoo?" was called "One of the best albums of recent years!" and the band described as "Better than Seasick Steve", (Note: The Swamp Poets LOVE Seasick Steve so for us its quite the honor to be mentioned in the same breath!). Their song "Dispense The Remedy" from the album was voted "Song Of The Year" by the UK Blues Awards. The album and the band continues to rack up awards and honors and both US and UK/European Tours are currently ongoing.

SUNDAY LINEUP:

Peacful Outlaws 11:00pm - 12:20pm
The The Peaceful Outlaws, (Fury & Strock) are a duo that plays early century style Americana, Blues and Bluesy Bluegrass, (Old & New Grass) Originals and Covers.

Big Daddy D & The Dynamites 12:40pm - 2:00pm
The Dynamites are a fluid group of well versed and highly sought after musicians from around the State. They are the recipients of many awards and accolades including: 2017 AZ Blues Hall of Fame Nominee - 2008 & 2016 Competitor at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN. Numerous Festival appearances include Colorado River Blues Festival 2018 with Buddy Guy, Glendale Blues and Jazz Festival, Phoenix Blues Society Annual Blues Blast, Bisbee, Alpine, Cottonwood, Flagstaff Blues Festival, Pine High Mountain Music, and North Mountain Music Festival.

Cros Charles Mack 2:20pm - 4:00pm
Cros is an award winning and Grammy nominated dynamic bassist and vocalist who has performed with James Cotton and Lucky Peterson among others. He is a winner of the Phoenix Blues Blast and a semifinalist at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis. His shows are very "High Energy".
